Mentoring

I find it funny when somebody says they do not need the coaching, support, or insight that I can offer. I find it funny for many reasons. First, I know that I am supported incredibly on multiple dimensions, and this is the reason I am able to place my focus on others. Second, I have seen the same in other people: I have found that when someone is willing to receive support, the benefits they receive are exponential. For example, I often work with CEOs and other employees at the top of their organization who have no one to be accountable to or to talk to about to, since they feel their employees are subordinate in some way. This lack of support hinders their capability to work, because the benefit of support at any level is not only hugely beneficial, but fundamental. This idea is why the Inquiry Management program is designed to set up systems to organize mentoring, instead of direction. When I begin my work, there are many people who feel the need to support everybody, but are not allowing themselves to be supported. We can fix this by recognizing and creating a culture where everyone recognizes they can benefit from support and guidance. Which then creates teams of people that are open to receiving support from those with more experience. When these people are more open to listening, the employees with more experience are more willing to invest their knowledge and wisdom, because they feel they are being received. The process continues, and the more open and willing we are to be supported, the more supported we become.

With this, I want to announce the release of my first E-course Inquiry Management. This is one of my favorite subjects, which I call Levels of Participation. It is a profoundly impactful understanding of how organizations operate, and how the individuals operate within it. It includes tools for working with your most challenging employees or directs, and also working with the ones that have the most to contribute. It will help you assess and elevate how you participate and your ability to inspire others to participate. Even so, it will also apply to every relationship and interaction in your life, including with family and children, boards and non-profits, school and friends. It is not just a business course, it is a course for everybody. Everyone that has participated in this course has been deeply inspired to reach new levels of success.

Love,

Kyle
