Supporting People in Their Rage

This week's blog is a follow-up to last week's blog "Taking Responsibility Based on Our Own Inner Truth". A member wrote in and asked "How do you support people in their rage?" Kyle and Raven discuss how to use Inquiry Method to reach different levels of consciousness when supporting someone in their rage.

Key Takeaways:

  • If I have rage and I want to express it to then I can meet someone in their rage while also in my own rage

  • We can use inquiry with someone who is experiencing rage

  • When we get curious, it helps someone get past their own rage to discover something they don't know or realize what's behind it

  • Rage is a level one consciousness experience

  • At Level IV, the person that was in their rage may ask you what your experience is

  • Asking "why" tends to be more intellectual whereas asking "what bothers you about that" is more personal
